'India please help' - Kevin Pietersen seeks urgent help after misplacing PAN Card, IT department responds

Seeking help from India, Pietersen took it to Twitter to describe the unfortunate situation of him losing his PAN card.

The English Cricketer, Kevin Pietersen shares a great relationship with India and is a part of the major Indian tournaments. He played in the Indian T20 League for a few years and then joined the broadcast team of the tournament. He was also sent a letter of appreciation by Prime Minister on the occasion of India's Republic Day.

Seeking help from India, Pietersen took it to Twitter to describe the unfortunate situation of him losing his PAN card. He wanted to get in touch with the officials for the same as he is set to travel to India on Monday.

"INDIA PLEASE HELP, I’ve misplaced my PAN card & traveling Mon to India but need the physical card for work. Can some PLEASE PLEASE direct me to someone who I can contact asap to help me?" Pietersen tweeted. He also tagged India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet.

The Income Tax department of India was quick to respond to the situation. They replied to the tweet asking for his details. "Dear @KP24, We are here to help you. If you have your PAN details with you, please visit these links for the procedure to apply for reprint of physical PAN Card," they tweeted.

The situation was taken care of as the former English captain mailed them his details.
