BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has confirmed that India will play a pink-ball Test against Sri Lanka in Bangalore. Sri Lanka will tour India and will play two Tests and three T20Is in February-March. The series will start with the Test series on February 25 in Bangalore. This game will mark the 100th Test for the former skipper Virat Kohli.
However, according to the reports, the BCCI wants to host the T20I series ahead of the Tests to make it convenient for the players to shift through the bio-bubbles. “Yes, the pink-ball Test will be happening in Bengaluru. We have not decided on all the venues for the Sri Lanka series yet, but it will be announced shortly," the BCCI president told Sportstar.
