David Warner: 8.5/10
It was yet another great innings from David Warner. He was sailing to a century, but an unwise decision led to his downfall. He walked out of the crease with a limp in the second innings and is suspected of a groin injury. The management is waiting for the results of the scan.
Aaron Finch: 7.5/10
The captain had a couple of tense moments at the start but eased into his innings to finish on 60. Finch has been impressive in both games but could not convert this into a big score. His form is a significant source of encouragement for the Australian side.
Steve Smith: 9.5/10
Smith is simply a class player playing against India in any format. The former Aussie captain sailed to another 62-ball ton. He played several delectable shots. It was a great innings from one of the best batsmen in the world who also contributed in the field like always.
Marnus Labuschagne: 8/10
Labuschagne came to bat at No. 6 in the previous game. In the second match, he made the most of the opportunity at his regular No. 4 slots with a fluent 70. He supported Smith and then Maxwell, turning over the strike generously before being dismissed.
Moises Henriques: 7/10
Moises was brought in place of the injured Stoinis. Henriques had only one ball to face but bowled an impressive 7-over spell for just 34 runs. He also picked up a crucial wicket of Shreyas Iyer.
Alex Carey: 6/10
Alex Carey did not get to bat in the 2nd match, but he was tidy behind the stumps like always.
Glenn Maxwell: 9/10
Maxwell, with his unbeaten 29-ball 63 took Australia to another significantly above-par total. The batsman was almost unstoppable as he picked apart Saini at the death. Maxwell bowled five overs for 34 runs and also picked up a wicket.
Mitchell Starc: 1.5/10
Mitchell Starc was volatile yet again. He is feeling the effects of being out of action for so many months. The left-arm quick gave away 82 runs in his nine overs. His pace was down as well. The team needs him to get back to his looming best at the soonest.
Pat Cummins: 8.5/10
Cummins had a neutral outing in the 1st ODI but made up with an excellent, performance in the 2nd game. His subtle variations of pace and length brought him the wicket of Agarwal, Pandya, and Jadeja. The pacer finished with figures of 3/67 in his ten overs.
Adam Zampa: 7/10
Zampa performed decently for Australia and finished with figures of 2/62 in his ten overs. He picked up a crucial wicket of KL Rahul once again. He was also accurate in the middle overs while varying his lines and lengths.
Josh Hazlewood: 8/10
Hazlewood was superb as he dismissed Dhawan to provide Australia with their first breakthrough. He then sent back the Indian captain Virat Kohli and finished with figures of 2/59. He might take a well-earned rest in the final match of the series.
