Rohit Sharma was a beaming skipper as he saw his team level the five-match Test series at 1-1. India won the Visakhapatnam Test match by 106 runs just before tea on the fourth day of the game.

Jasprit Bumrah fittingly got the final wicket of the game when he castled Tom Hartley for 36. It was a great moment for the team and its fans after England had threatened to take the game away during the day.

Zak Crawley in particular was severe on the Indian bowlers during the first hour. The tall right-handed batter was severe on anything that was short or pitched up to him. Axar Patel in particular was taken for boundaries at will before the 1st drinks break.

Indian bowlers deliver a huge win to level the series –

Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma will be delight after winning the 2nd India vs England 2024 Test match. The 106 run win means that the series is now level at 1-1 with three more games left to play. England had won the first Test in Hyderabad by 28 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Starting the day at 67/1, England needed 332 runs to win with Crawley and Rehan Ahmed as the overnight batters. No team has chased this kind of target in India before but this England team is different.

Rehan Ahmed was coming down the track and hitting Axar Patel for a few boundaries before he was out for 23. Ollie Pope reverse swept his very first ball of the innings for a four.

The 25-year-old was seen batting with positive mindset before Rohit Sharma ended his knock. The Indian skipper showed good reflexes as he helped Ashwin pick his 2nd wicket of the innings. Joe Root fell to Ashwin after scoring an enterprising 16 off 10 balls.

Just before the lunch break.

India struck again as Bumrah got Bairstow for the 2nd time in the game. Ben Stokes was run out for 11 after lunch thanks to some smart work by Shreyas Iyer. Ben Foakes and Tom Hartley frustrated the Indian bowlers with a stand of 55 runs in just about 13 overs.

Just when the match was getting interesting again, Rohit Sharma brought back his main man. A slower ball by Bumrah saw Foakes give the bowler a simple return catch. Mukesh Kumar then got Shoaib Bashir before Hartley saw his off stump dismantled by Bumrah.
