England Test skipper Ben Stokes seems to be surprised with the dismissal of Zak Crawley during the second Test. On the fourth day of the game, the latter was given out LBW via DRS. At first, he missed the ball from Kuldeep Yadav but was given not out. However, the technology showed that the ball was hitting the stumps although the leg stump was somehow visible.

The dismissal created long conversations on social media. Also, Crawley was going well with the bat and seemed like winning the game for his side. His team ended up losing the Test by 106 runs and the series is now levelled 1-1. After the game, England's skipper said that the technology can never be 100 percent.

"Technology in the game is obviously there," said Stokes at stumps. "Everyone has an understanding of the reasons it can never be 100% which is why we have the umpire's call. That's why it's in place.

I think technology has got it wrong on this occasion: Ben Stokes

The two-time World Cup winner added that he doesn't feel that it's unfair to say that technology got it wrong. However, he further added that the dismissal didn't have any bearing on the result of the game.

"When it's not 100% as everyone says, I don't think it's unfair for someone to say 'I think the technology has got it wrong on this occasion'. And that is my personal opinion. I will say that.

"But in a game full of ifs, buts and maybes, I am not going to say that's the reason why we haven't got the result we wanted. I'm just saying my personal opinion is that the technology has gone wrong on this occasion, and I think that's fair to say."
