Former Indian cricketer and now cricket pundit, Wasim Jaffer took a dig at the former England star Kevin Pietersen. Jaffer shared a hilarious meme in a post on his official X-handle (formerly Twitter), with a collage including the two tweets Pietersen shared during the ongoing first Test of the five-match series between India and England.

“England bat. 450/9 declared today?” tweeted Pietersen in the morning when England won the toss and opted to bat first. But just within three hours, Pietersen took a turn and came up with a tweet of completely a different intensity. “Bloody hell!!!! Might be a two-day game!” he wrote three hours after his first tweet.

The same came to the notice of the former Indian cricketer and undoubtedly a social media meme legend, Wasim Jaffer. The latter didn’t make any delay in coming up with a hilarious meme; Jaffer wrote ‘Ghar se nikalte hi’ with a screenshot of Kevin Pietersen’s first tweet followed by ‘Kuch duur chalte hi’ with the screenshot of KP’s second tweet.

Jaffer also added a funny caption to this meme tweet, writing “Dinesh Karthik will translate this for you Kevin Pietersen.”

Speaking of the ongoing action of the first day of the first Test between India and England, India bundled out England at the score of 246 runs in the first innings. Skipper Ben Stokes played a well-fought knock of 70 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja scalped three wickets each, alongside two wickets each bagged by Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel.
