India’s white-ball team is on a roll at the moment. In the past few months, they have played against South Africa- a T20I series that was leveled at 2-2. Thereafter, India won the T20I series against Ireland before defeating England in ODI as well as the T20I series.
Currently, India are on a tour to West Indies where the Men in Blue have already won the three-match ODI series and lead the five-match T20I series by 2-1. The last two matches of the series will be held in Florida, USA.
India are scheduled to take on the Zimbabwe side in a three-match ODI series, starting August 18th. The second match will be played on the 20th ,with the last match scheduled for the 22nd.
India have already announced their squad for the Zimbabwe tour but the home team is yet to name their players. Led by Shikhar Dhawan, the second-string Indian side would be looking to showcase their best performance.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, played an ODI series against Afghanistan in June where they were whitewashed by the Asian team. Zimbabwe will also play a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh before India land on their shores.
