Both Australia and India have won one match each as it all comes down to the series-deciding third T20I, which is currently underway at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first.

As far as the playing XI is concerned, India are playing with five front-line bowling options as Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns to the team. He replaces Rishabh Pant in the playing XI. Meanwhile, big-hitter Deepak Hooda continues to miss out from the eleven.

Ahead of the start of the big game, the Indian Cricket Board revealed that Deepak Hooda is unavailable for the series due to a back injury. Hooda’s injury news was confirmed by the Indian Cricket Board on their official Twitter handle. Australia, on the other hand, also made one change, i.e., Josh Inglis replaced Sean Abbott.

Australian all-rounder, Chris Green continues his fine run of form as he gave the side a sensational start in the powerplay. Green smacked Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a four and a six to take 12 runs from the first over. Later, he clobbered Bumrah for two sixes and a four to help Australia reach 40 runs in just 3 overs of the innings.

Three fours to Axar Patel in the next over meant Australia raced to 56 runs in just 4 overs. Indian veteran, Bhuvneshwar Kumar brought India back into the game after sending Chris Green back to the hut on the last ball of the fifth over.

India put brakes on Australia’s hitting as they kept picking wickets in regular intervals. At the time of writing, Australia have lost 5 wickets for 115 runs on the board. While Green scored 52 off 21 balls, the likes of Finch, Smith, and Maxwell got out on single-digit scores.
