“We have analyzed Odisha.” - Thomas Brdaric ahead of their Indian Super League clash

During the pre-match press conference, Thomas Brdaric shared his views about Odisha FC’s head coach. He said: “I am sure he will want to beat us and we have to face them in a professional way to show our abilities. I am looking forward to this match because it will be a very interesting match. Both teams want to play good football. I believe it will be an open game. We should be well organized and disciplined. We will try to inflict them a defeat.”

Speaking about the opponent, Brdaric added: “We have analyzed Odisha. They will try to implement their strengths, and their strengths are in the offensive. Of course, they know how to score and I can’t deny this. We are working. We had a short week without too much time for this match tomorrow. That’s why everything must be organized. We don’t want to give them space that they can exploit. Our pressing tomorrow must also be very good.”

He also added that the game can turn out to be a high-scoring affair. “It will be a match in which both teams like to play offensively. It depends on a lot of things, for instance, how Odisha will play without the ball. Sometimes when you expect a lot of goals, it might turn out to be a match with fewer goals. Let’s keep the surprise for tomorrow.” Chennaiyin FC’s Head Coach concluded.
