Two-time champions Kolkata will face inaugural champions Rajasthan in the 47th match of the Indian T20 League 2022. The match will take place on May 2nd at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. This will be the second meeting between the two this season. Rajasthan won their previous encounter by seven runs. With six wins in nine games, Rajasthan finds itself in the second position on the points table. Kolkata, on the other hand, has only won three of its nine games and is now eighth in the points table.

Shreyas Iyer- Shreyas Iyer has been a decent performer for the team this season, with 290 runs in nine games at an average of 36.25 this season. However, Kolkata would expected a lot more from him. With team in a must win situation, the skipper will be keen to step up to the occasions.

Tim Southee- Tim Southee's form this season has been pretty impressive. In the four matches he has played, he has taken eight wickets. He's also been highly economical, allowing only 6.93 runs per over.

Jos Buttler- With 566 runs in nine matches, Jos Buttler has been the most consistent player this season. He has an average of 70.75 in the Indian T20 League 2022. The team depends a lot on Jos Buttler and the keeper-batter will be desperate to perform well for them once again.

Yuzvendra Chahal- Yuzvendra Chahal is another player that has been very consistent for the Rajasthan team this season. He currently holds the purple cap with 19 wickets in nine games. He also has been very economical, leaking just 7.22 runs per over.
