The battle between Mumbai and Delhi will keenly be watched by the fans, as well as the Bangalore players. The fate of the playoffs will rest on this game. The 69th encounter of the Indian T20 League 2022 will be played at the Wankhede Stadium on the 20th of May. This will be their second face-off this season. Delhi won the first match by four wickets. Mumbai currently sits at the bottom of the points table with three wins in 13 games. On the other hand, Delhi are placed fifth with seven wins in 13 games.

Mumbai

Mumbai, playing their final game of the season at their fortress, will look to end their season on a high. The five-time winners have not had their finest season. However, there are some encouraging signs. Tilak Varma and Tim David have been excellent finds for them this season. They have helped the team in many difficult situations. Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith have been good in patches for the Mumbai-based franchise as well.

In the next match, Mumbai can look to make some experimental changes to their side. Since they are out of the race to the playoffs, they would look to give some young players a chance in their playing XI. Arjun Tendulkar could be given a chance, in place of Sanjay Yadav.

Tim David- Tim David has given some exceptional performances for the team as the finisher this season. He has scored 152 runs in seven matches for the team at an average of 38. He also has a brilliant strike rate of 202 this season.

Jasprit Bumrah- Jasprit Bumrah had a slow start to the season, but he has come back stronger in recent games. He has picked 12 wickets at an economy rate of 7.25 in 13 matches this season. In the last game, he would like to get more wickets.

They would want to break that in the next match and advance to the next stage.

In a massive boost for the team, Prithvi Shaw might be fit and thus, could return to bat at the top of the order alongside David Warner. Sarfaraz Khan will have to make a place at the top for him.  Apart from that, Delhi might not look to make any changes to its lineup.

David Warner- David Warner has been a great addition to the team at the top of the order this year. He has scored 427 runs at an average of 53.37 in 11 matches. The Australian has also scored five half-centuries.

Mitchell Marsh- Mitchell Marsh has regained his form in the last two games. He has scored fifties in both matches. He would want to continue doing that in this must-win game for his side.
