Indian T20 League 2022: Yuzvendra Chahal hacks Rajasthan’s Twitter account, announces himself as new captain

Rajasthan leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has a habit of pulling the legs of teammates and friends every now and then. Just like Chahal, Rajasthan teams’ social handler, whose identity is unknown to us, also has the habit of engaging with fans and followers with memes. With Chahal being signed by the 2008 winners last month, it was given that both the individuals will engage in banter.

The banter started with the teams’ Twitter handler posting a video of Chahal ordering food items in a restaurant trolling the latter for his eating habits. In reply, he said that he will hack the Twitter handle. Then, the social media handler posted an image of Anil Kapoor from the film ‘Nayak’ and wrote that translates ‘Whatever you are saying can be a point of debate but can’t be a reality.

The 31-year-old then posted his picture possibly from the team’s hotel room and said that he got the password of the Twitter handle. After this, he himself as the captain of the team for the upcoming season. Then, the account handler took control and asked players not to responds to Chahal’s cheesy messages.

Talking about the team leader, the team will be led by Sanju Samson, who also led the team last season. The team had a horrendous season last year, with a seventh-place finish due to just five wins in 14 games.

This year, the team will be looking forward to a much-improved performance as they have strengthened their arsenal with the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Shimron Hetmyer, Prasidh Krishna, Navdeep Saini, James Neesham, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rassie van der Dussen, Daryl Mitchell, etc.
