Gujarat and Delhi will face off each other in the 10th match of the Indian T20 League 2022. The match is set to be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on the 2nd of April. Both the teams began their season on a winning note, and they look high on confidence. This battle is between the two fairly new captains, Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant. The match will be exciting to watch as both will have a point to prove this season.

Gujarat looked in great touch as they played their first ITL game against Lucknow. Despite a good start to the season, they still need to figure out a few things as they do not have the best options available at their disposal. Most of their bowling looked good, but they still need to make some refinements to it, especially Hardik Pandya. His bowling becomes a very important factor as it will make or break the balance of the team. Their top-order batters also will have to bat better to give them good starts.

The Delhi team looked in great touch for most of their first match. They did well to restrict Mumbai after they got a good start. Later on, they also chased the target with ease. However, there is some work they still need to do. Their batting was not the best. Their top-order was expected to get the most runs in the match, but they did not do much and the pressure was on the lower-order batters to deliver. They will look to have a more stable start this time around.

Pitch report

The wicket at the MCA Stadium has some good carry due to the grass coverage. But, it is not as good for bowlers as other wickets this season. It's a high scoring ground and once again a high scoring game can be expected. The team winning the toss will look to bowl first in these conditions.
