The 13th Match of the Indian T20 League is set to be played between Rajasthan and Bangalore. Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host the match on the 5th of April at 7:30 p.m. Rajasthan has a fantastic start to their campaign this season and Bangalore is not too far behind with their performances this season. Both teams will not look to slow down their momentum and will look forward to winning the match.

Team news

Rajasthan

Rajasthan has played two games so far and has been unbeaten. They won their first game against Hyderabad, which they won comfortably. They then beat Mumbai in the next encounter and had a decent win in that match, too. Both these matches were against the odds as they won defending the totals. Most of the games this season have been won while chasing the scores.

In the next game, Rajasthan will look forward to what they have to face. This time, they may bowl first. If that is the case, this game will show how they approach chase. This too will be very important for them.

Players to watch out for:

Jos Buttler- Jos Buttler has been in outstanding form in the last two matches. He became the first player to score a century this season and played with great intent. He is the joint highest run-scorer currently and has a lot lying ahead in the coming games.

Yuzvendra Chahal- Yuzvendra Chahal, too, has been amazing for Rajasthan this season. He has bowled tight lines and lengths that have put pressure on the batters. In the last game, he almost took a hat trick and restricted Mumbai from winning the match.

Probable Playing XI:

Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Ravichandran Ashwin, Navdeep Saini, Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, Prasidh Krishna

Bangalore

Bangalore has played two games in the tournament so far and has been able to win one of them. They lost to Punjab and won the game against Kolkata. They made major improvements to win the match after losing the season opener. Bangalore will now want to take the game against Punjab home to continue their run.

But for that, they will have to maintain consistency with the ball as they did in the first game. They do not have the best bowling lineup going around, but they are surely a skilled bunch of players. They will have to make the opposition does not get big partnerships.

Players to watch out for:

Faf du Plessis- Faf du Plessis, the new Bangalore captain, had a good start to the tournament with his 88 against Punjab. He could not continue that against Kolkata, but he will look to get better in the next game against Punjab.

Wanindu Hasaranga- Hasaranga created magic with the ball in the last game as he got a four-wicket haul. He got just the right assistance from the pitch to get his work done. His performance with the bat is still to be explored, and that might not be far away.

Probable Playing XI:

Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga, David Willey, Harshal Patel, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj

Head to Head

The two teams in question have played 25 games against each other in the Indian T20 League. While Bangalore has won 12 of these encounters, Rajasthan is just behind with 10 wins to their name. Three of their games have ended in no result.

Pitch Report

The pitch at the Wankhede Stadium has been of assistance to the fast bowlers so far. They have had good swings early on, and they also have a good bounce to them. Batters are happy with the pitch, too, as they have had a good time after settling in. The team winning the toss would want to bowl first in these conditions.
