Match 15 of the Indian T20 League 2022 is between Lucknow and Delhi. The KL Rahul-led Lucknow team is in the fifth position after three games this season and Delhi is in the seventh position after their two games. Rishabh Pant and company won their season opener against Mumbai by four wickets and lost to Gujarat by 14 runs. Lucknow, on the other hand, lost their first match to Gujarat but won their next two matches against Chennai and Hyderabad. The Delhi team will look forward to winning this match and getting back on track. On the other hand, Lucknow will want to keep their momentum going.

With the restriction from Cricket Australia of centrally contracted players being unavailable until the 6th of April being out of the way, many players will now be available. For Lucknow, it is their draft selection, Marcus Stoinis. The team balance will now change completely with his availability. For him to be in the team, another overseas player will have to make way. It will most likely be fellow Australian, Andrew Tye.

Lucknow have been fantastic, and have started their first season in the tournament brilliantly. They have been calm in difficult situations in both the matches that they won, and they also looked settled as a unit against Gujarat, which they lost. They will once again have to bring their A-game against Delhi as they, too, are looking strong this season.

Players to watch out for

KL Rahul- KL Rahul has evolved as an opener this season. He has varied his game plan according to the situation, unlike in the previous two seasons. He had an approach of an anchor previously but still got the results. Rahul has got the results now as well, but he is attacking whenever he can.

Avesh Khan- Avesh Khan was a contender for the purple cap last season but could not win it. He already has seven wickets in the three games that they have played and is looking lethal. Khan can continue his form against Delhi as well.

Delhi

Australian star opener, David Warner, will now be available to the Delhi team. He has been in exceptional form in his recent white-ball games, and he was also the man of the series in the recent T20 World Cup. Delhi will be eager to have him back in the team after eight years. Mitchell Marsh, another Australian player who was going to be available for Delhi from this match, will not be available as he suffered a hip injury during Australia's series against Pakistan.

Anrich Nortje, who was injured and recovering with the team, will be available for selection as well. Delhi has had a decent start this season and will look to get back on track after a loss against Gujarat in their last match. With the availability of two key foreign players, they suddenly appear to be a very dangerous side.

Players to watch out for

David Warner- David Warner has been a great player in the Indian T20 League, but the last season was a one to forget for him. With the new team atmosphere this season, he can be very dangerous. He will look forward to scoring good runs in his first match of the season.

Anrich Nortje- Anrich Nortje, with his pace and wicket-taking skills, managed to retain a spot in the Delhi team. He has given them some great results in the past and can be important this time, too. He can get the results they have been looking for with the ball.
