The veteran Caribbean stars Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo share an amazing banter both on and off the field. They frequently post on social media trolling each other for the performances or results in the T20 franchise leagues across the cricketing world. Recently, it was Pollard who won the round after MI New York defeated Texas Super Kings in the second qualifier of MLC 2023.

Notably, Pollard and Bravo played for MI New York and Texas Super Kings, respectively, in the recently-concluded Major League Cricket 2023. Pollard teased Bravo with a gesture of flight after Super Kings lost to MINY in the second qualifier. The video of that funny moment also made rounds on social media.

Speaking of the action in the MLC 2023 final between MI New York and Seattle Orcas, MINY skipper Nicholas Pooran won the toss and decided to bowl first. The star spin-pace duo of Rashid Khan and Trent Boult scalped three wickets each for MI in the first innings. Apart from these two, David Wiese and Steven Taylor also picked one wicket each.

It was wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock who took the charge for Orcas and played a blistering knock of 87 runs off just 52 balls with 9 boundaries and 4 sixes. On the back of his amazing knock, Seattle Orcas managed to put in a total of 183 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

But the star Caribbean batter and MI skipper, Nicholas Pooran had some other plans on the day; he played an unbelievable knock of 137 runs off just 55 balls with 10 boundaries and 13 massive sixes. Riding on the skipperโ€™s century, New York chased down the target only in 16 overs and won the match by a big margin of 7 wickets to lift the title in the inaugural edition of Major League Cricket.

After the match, the MI veteran Kieron Pollard took the opportunity to troll his West Indies teammate and one of the biggest rivals in franchise cricket. He trolled Dwayne Bravo on a video just after MINY won the final of the tournament and clinched the title in the inaugural edition. It also drew a lot of hilarious reactions from cricket fans on Twitter.
