The veteran RCB wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik is going through a very horrible run of form with the bat in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023. He has only scored 140 runs in 12 innings of the 12 matches he played so far in the tournament with a very poor average of 12.73.
In today’s concluded match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Dinesh Karthik disappointed the fans once again with his batting; he went back to the pavilion only on a duck off two balls. Meanwhile, he has also equaled the Mumbai Indians skipper and veteran batter, Rohit Sharma in having the most ducks in the history of IPL.
Subsequently, a section of cricket fans took it as an opportunity to brutally troll Dinesh Karthik for a poor knock against RR in the 60th match of the tournament. The fans immediately took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and came up with some harsh and trolling remarks for the 37-year-old.
Here’s how fans reacted:

Dinesh Karthik has been really uncomfortable against spin this IPL season. Has got out either defending on frontfoot or going on backfoot.

Speaking of the entire action of the match between RR and RCB played at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur, the visitors completely outmuscled Sanju Samson’s men; they won the match in a one-sided manner.
Batting first after winning the toss, RCB posted a total of 171 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The skipper Du Plessis and senior batting all-rounder Glenn Maxwell contributed with 55 and 54 runs respectively followed by a short came from Anuj Rawat who scored 29 runs off just 11 balls with three fours and two sixes with the wood.
Later on, the RCB bowlers bundled up the Rajasthan Royals only on the score of 59 runs in 10.3 overs courtesy of the fatal bowling from the star left-arm pacer Wayne Parnell; he scalped three wickets at the cost of only 10 runs. Other than him, Michael Bracewell scalped two wickets each alongside one wicket each claimed by Mohammed Siraj and Glenn Maxwell.
Eventually, Bangalore won the match by 112 runs to keep their winning momentum going in the current season of the tournament.
