Injury for Bhuvneshwar Kumar! This is becoming a consistent incident now for the bowler. The pacer of Sunrisers Hyderabad has yet again suffered an injury on Friday. This is definitely a setback for the team. The team has clashed with the three-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings on Friday and won the match.

However, bowling during his last over, Kumar, who is the right-arm pacer, stopped abruptly before his second delivery. He received the treatment on field and decided not to bowl.

The star pacer of India attempted stretching his leg and returned to bowl before stopping once more. The physio team attended him and strapped his leg. Though, the strapping didn’t work as he tried for the third time to bowl and declared finally that it was tough to bowl anymore for him.

Khaleel Ahmed finished the over as Kumar limped off the field. It was 19th over of the innings. In the final over, Abdul Samad defended 28 runs and SRH beat CSK by seven runs. This is their second victory in IPL 2020.

Hoping all will be right for Bhuvneshwar Kumar soon

As Bhuvneshwar Kumar has suffered many injuries in recent times, cricket experts and fans are hoping that this is not a very serious injury of him. In 2019, during the World Cup as well, Kumar had to miss some matches as he had received a hamstring injury. He got it in the group stage when India was playing against Pakistan.

Again in the same year, during West Indies tour in August, Kumar picked up a side strain. He went to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for rehabilitation purposes. The selectors ruled him out against South Africa and Bangladesh T20Is tournament. He came back in the team to play against West Indies at the end of 2019 in the T20I series.

After that, the selectors had to again rule him out of New Zealand tour and the home series against Australia. The reason was that the doctors diagnosed him with a sports hernia, after the T20I series. However, hopefully, this one is not big and we will see him perform for SRH soon.
