Mumbai Indians came victorious against Royal Challengers Bangalore with a great run-chase at Abu Dhabi. Pandya and Morris have been censured for penetrating the Indian Premier League's (IPL) Code of Conduct. The heat started when Morris attempted to throw the ball at Hardik Pandya in the fifteenth over. Later, they traded a few words in the center after Pandya was dismissed by Morris in the penultimate over.

After the match finished, IPL gave an official statement. The announcement said that Morris has admitted to the Level 1 offense 2.5. On the other hand, Pandya has admitted to the Level 1 offense 2.20 of the IPL's Code of Conduct.
