Now with Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 dates and location confirmed, the teams are now ready for the game. The tournament's thirteenth edition is set to be played from September 19 through November 10. Thanks to the coronavirus condition in India IPL 2020 will be played exclusively in the UAE.
The BCCI had the green signal from the central government earlier this month to shift the tournament outside the region. All the eight franchises are ready to depart for UAE. The BCCI has told the teams already that they can only quit the country after August 20th.
And after August 20, franchises are spending little time flying to UAE. According to a source, Kolkata Knight Riders will be among the first teams to enter the UAE to start their preparations for the Indian Premier League this year.
According to the news agency, the Dinesh Karthik's team will travel from Mumbai on August 20/21. They will travel with its Indian players and support staff and will live at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal.

Eventually, the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will both depart for the UAE. Both companies are ready to arrive on August 21 in the UAE. Although the Mumbai Indians will live at St Regis, Saadiyat Island (Abu Dhabi). The team headed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni will park itself at Taj Dubai.
Chennai Super Kings are reportedly having a pre-season training with franchise Indian stars in Chennai. The camp will likely finish on 20 August. However for "personal reasons," Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh and Shardul Thakur will not attend the camp.
On the other side, home players from Mumbai Indians have also begun their training at Reliance's Navi Mumbai corporate plant. It hoped the majority of the Indian players will gather by Monday.
