With so many match-winners in the team, it will definitely be difficult for the Mumbai Indians' team management to compile a playing XI. And it looks like their work has been made a bit easier by Aakash Chopra as he picked a strong playing XI for the dominant IPL franchise.

Aakash Chopra's ideal playing XI for Mumbai Indians

The renowned Indian commentator did not spring any surprise with his picks for Mumbai Indians' top-four. For the openers, Chopra went with skipper Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock. At number three, the former cricketer picked Suryakumar before picking Ishan Kishan for the fourth spot. He then followed the list with three all-rounders, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard.

Talking about the bowling department, Aakash Chopra picked four ace bowlers by starting with Jasprit Bumrah and Rahul Chahar. For the remaining two slots, Chopra opined that Trent Boult could be one and Nathan Coulter-Nile could be the other pacer in the team. Aakash Chopra concluded the discussion by stating that MI will be a tough nut to crack for the other IPL teams this time around as well. MI ended IPL 2020 as the top-ranked team and defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets to win their fifth title. The whole IPL 14 season will be hosted in six cities in India due to the COVID-19 cases nationwide. The final is going to be held on May 30 in Ahmedabad.
