Axar Patel is now the second cricketer after KKR's Nitish Rana tested positive for the virus. The all-rounder has now been put in isolation according to the regulations set by the BCCI. Axar Patel was in mandatory quarantine before being tested positive and will now have to isolate himself for ten more days. As per BCCI's COVID guidelines for IPL 2021, the concerned person must isolate himself in the designated area outside the bio-secure environment for at least ten days.
