IPL 2021: Match 37 - SRH vs PBKS – Preview, Playing XI, Pitch Report & Updates

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings will lock horns in Match 37 of the Indian Premier League. The former struggled to put up a good score on board in their match against Delhi Capitals after opting to bat first. Abdul Samad (28) top-scored for the team as no other batter could provide enough resistance. The team managed just 134 runs at the end of the 20th over which Delhi chased down comfortably. 

Punjab, on the other hand, had a disappointing game against Rajasthan Royals. Chasing down the target of 186, openers Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul provided a flying start. The game was inclined towards the Kings as they needed just four runs off the final over. However, Kartik Tyagi exuded his fiefdom and defended the runs taking Rajasthan to victory by two runs. 

This game will be pivotal for Punjab to improve their standings and get into the already heated race of the play-offs. Hyderabad will also be aiming to secure a win and get going in the rest of the tournament. It would thus be an intriguing contest to watch out for the cricket on-lookers.

Pitch Report:

His contributions in the top order would be a key asset for Punjab going ahead in the league.

Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan has been the captain’s go-to man in crunch moments. With his lethal googlies, Rashid can pose threat to the strongest of the batting line-ups. The Afghanistan spinner is one of the most important links of Hyderabad’s chain and he will be keen to make an impact in the match. He has clinched 11 wickets at a healthy economy rate of 6.18 in the tournament so far.
