Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will battle it out against each other in Match 46 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The former lost their three initial games of the UAE leg of the IPL before getting back to winning ways after securing a win against Punjab Kings. MI’s bowlers exuded some great character to restrict Punjab to 135. Chasing down the total, though MI’s openers were dismissed cheaply, Hardik Pandya and Saurabh Tiwary sailed the team past the target.

DC, on the other hand, have had a splendid run in this season of the IPL. The team displayed their dominance in the first half and continued their rich vein of form in the UAE leg as well. However, KKR emerged triumphant against DC in the previous game to beak their winning streak.

For Mumbai, every game from here is crucial as they need a win in almost every game to fancy their chances of making it to the playoffs. Delhi, on the other hand, is placed in the second position of the points table. The team will look forward to winning this match and confirm their seat in the play-offs.
