Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians(MI) will lock horns in Match 51 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rajasthan’s batters' exuded great character in their previous game against Chennai to dominate the proceedings. The team chased down the target of 190 and registered a victory by seven wickets.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, had to face defeat against the in-form Delhi capitals (DC) in their previous match. Delhi’s bowlers ran through MI’s batting line-up to restrict the team to a total of 129. Though MI was successful in getting a few early breakthroughs, Shreyas Iyer stayed firm on one end for DC as the team won the match by four wickets.

Heading into this match, a win is important for both the teams to stay in the hunt for the play-offs. Rajasthan has a winning momentum on their side will look to take that further. The Rohit Sharma-led side has previously been in such crunch positions and came out on top on most occasions. They will look to repeat it by putting a spirited show on display.

Pitch Report:

Spinners are expected to get help on this pitch of the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Batting hasn’t looked too easy on this surface. On winning the toss, opting to chase can be a good alternative here.

Yashasvi Jaiswal

The young batter displayed his sheer flair against Chennai. He played an impressive knock and provided the team with a flying start in a big chase. He registered a quick half-century which included as many as six fours and three sixes. He will look forward to taking the momentum further.
