IPL 2021 will be taking place in the April-May window, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly confirms

The thirteenth release of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to close on November 10. The competition was delayed for the current year because of the COVID-19 pandemic and with ever-rising cases in India, it had to be moved to the UAE. Likewise, with the delay in this season, BCCI is left with a small gap of time to get ready for the 14th version of the T20 event.

Different theories are being made over the following IPL season. Yet, the BCCI President has affirmed that the 2021 version will occur in the as usual April-May window one year from now. He likewise indicated the chance of the tournament occurring in India. In addition, he has likewise affirmed that England will visit India and the bio-bubble will be made for the equivalent to occur.

“Yeah, absolutely. April, May we’ll have another one [IPL 2021 season]. No, no it’s not true [the speculations]. The UAE was only for the IPL. Yeah, yeah. We will host England in India. We will host domestic cricket in India. Ranji Trophy, we will create a bio bubble and we will do it.

“We’ll be fine. ISL starting in November in Goa, we’ll be fine. The scare, that is not there anymore and the IPL has helped a lot. [have taken] 16 tests covid tests (laughs), so far being good,” Ganguly told.

It has been a monstrous accomplishment for BCCI organizing the IPL in UAE in the midst of the COVID-19 danger and Sourav Ganguly is enchanted with the quality of cricket played.
