The Indian Premier League 2020 is being held in unique circumstances and with unique features. The tournament is being held behind closed doors and outside India because of COVID-19. The players and the broadcasters had to go through unusual experiences without fans. The familiar atmosphere of shouts, banners, painted faces, cheering, etc. is all missing. Giving proper coverage from UAE is very different from the usual IPL matches which happen on home grounds in other stadiums.

It's all entertainment

The players, who are most affected, have to understand that it is all about entertainment. It is difficult, as the thrill created in the jam-packed stadium helps the players boost themselves. Only the players who have participated in cricket league matches of England have experienced how it feels to live inside the bubble. The monotonous routine of traveling from hotel to stadium and back again is frustrating to many of the players. Already some of the players have withdrawn their names from different teams. The high-pressure atmosphere of two months that too in UAE is actually oppressive for the players.

Famous for opportunities

IPL is famous for giving opportunities to the blooming crops of young Indian talent. One such player is of Kolkata Knight Riders' Shubman Gill. He is an opening batsman of the team. He has already displayed his might in IPL 2019. Just at the age of 19, he averaged more than 30 during the competition. He has proved himself to be a classical player.

Dhoni's retirement

MS Dhoni has already announced his retirement from international cricket. But this fact cannot be denied that he is passionate for the Chennai Super Kings and has dedicated himself to the team. The question is how is he going to fair himself in the present IPL after a long break from cricket. Hopefully, it will not be his last IPL. He may be in the game for some more years. The most appreciable qualities that have helped him be on captaincy are his calm behavior, frank nature, and his zeal of enjoying the game.

Delhi Capitals – A promising team

Delhi Capitals is one of the most promising teams in this year's IPL. The team is appreciated for its ownership structure and has a great rapport with the Delhi fans. The team may claim the winner's trophy because it has an experienced cricketer like Ricky Ponting as their coach. It has the best overseas bowlers like Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada with exciting young domestic talent.

The last fascinating issue of IPL 2020 is the Royal Challengers Bangalore's excellent performance in the past years. The most surprising thing about this team is that RCB does not have even a single winner's trophy to their credit despite the team's performance. The team has one of the best combinations of players like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and their performance in the field is worth watching. They have broken all records this time in IPL.
