South Africa head coach Mark Boucher claims that IPL will give an idea of what scores are going to be ideal in the T20 World Cup. The second phase of the 2021 Indian Premier League will resume on September 19. The final of the 14th IPL season will be played on October 15. With the T20 World Cup to get started on October 17, the officials have less than a month to get the pitches ready for the mega event after the conclusion of the IPL.
Mark Boucher feels that batting will not be an easy task, especially against the old ball. The spinners will play a big part during the World Cup matches. The former also feels that the second phase of the IPL will hint at the probable scores in the forthcoming world event.
