In an exclusive interview with CricTracker, the 36-year-old named his best XI of the year 2020 in the game's shortest format. Irfan started his list with India's star batsman KL Rahul. Rahul was in stunning form in 2020. Apart from making fantastic performances for India, the batsman led his franchise KXIP well in IPL 2020. Along with Rahul, Pathan picked up T20I specialist batsman Jos Buttler for the opening slot.

Virat Kohli is at number three position in Irfan Pathan's elite list. Pathan went with Pakistan's star batsman Babar Azam at the fourth spot.
Azam levelled up the game of the Men in Green with his fantastic batting skills in the last few years. Pathan further added Kane Williamson for his number five spot. The kiwi batsman is also captain of his T20I team of the year.
The no 6-all-rounder place went to England's great Ben Stokes. No.7 was taken by Caribbean star hitter Kieron Pollard. Pollard was in brilliant form during IPL 2020. The all-rounder also handled the skipper's duties in Rohit Sharma's absence. Talking about his bowling department, Lungi Nigidi is Irfan's first choice.
