Pakistan’s new jersey has been unveiled recently just ahead of the Asia Cup 2023 as the PCB president Zaka Ashraf was also there during the launch ceremony. The continental championship will kick off with the tournament opener between the hosts, Pakistan and the new entrants Nepal. Both teams will play this match at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan on Wednesday, August 30.

Fans are also waiting eagerly for the highly anticipated clash between the arch-rivals, India and Pakistan. The two Asian cricketing powerhouses will cross swords on Saturday, September 2 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.

The tournament is being hosted jointly by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. 9 matches of the tournament will be played in Sri Lanka, whereas the primary hosts, Pakistan will host the four matches of the 16th edition of the continental championship.

The Men in Green have also announced their squad for the Asia Cup 2023, the team will be playing under the captaincy of modern-day batting superstar, Babar Azam. A lot of star players have also been included in the side in the team’s quest to lift the title this year as they missed last year after a defeat in the final against Sri Lanka.
