Kolkata Knight Riders Rinku Singh became a hero after pulling off an unlikely win against Gujarat Titans. In that game, the defending champions had amassed 204/4 batting first. In reply, after going well for most parts of the chase, KKR faltered in the last few overs. In the end, they needed 29 runs to win in the final over. Singh hit five sixes to take the team home.

Meanwhile, a leading brand, that has collaborated with the tournament or the players, put up a social media post. It reads 'The Celebrity? UPI. In reply, the left-hander wrote 'Mujhe laga tha us din ke 6s dekh kar call karne wale ye log........P Kidding'. This means that he jokingly claimed that he was expecting an ad shoot with the brand. Meanwhile, the fans aren't liking this conversation.

Meanwhile, after the win against the Titans, the UP player was adjudged Player of the Match. During the post-game, he said that he believed that he could win the game for the team.

"I had belief that I can do this. Rana bhai said to keep belief and to bat till the end, then we will see what happens. (On the single) I was just trying to hit sixes. (Umesh) Bhaiya was asking me not to think much and just play the ball. I was not thinking a lot, was just reacting to the ball. It kept coming out of the middle, I had belief and it came off in the end," Singh said.

"We had belief because Rinku had done something similar last year, although we did not win. After the second six, we started to believe more because Yash Dayal was also not executing well," KKR skipper Nitish Rana said.
