Virat Kohli gave his fans nostalgia as the Indian batsman hit his sixth hundred in the history of the Indian Premier League. Yesterday's game-winning innings by Virat Kohli became his first league century in nearly four years. When Virat scored this important ton versus SRH in a game which needed to be clinched to go to the playoffs, he was performing at a level above the rest. 

Heinrich Klaasen's outstanding 104 run performance helped Sunrisers Hyderabad amass a massive 186 runs in their allotted 20 overs. The pressure was on the RCB batters to show off their skills and take the team over the finish line. The second innings witnessed more scoring as both Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis quickly hit their peak and started targeting bowlers for fun.  

After RCB defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad last night by an eight-wicket margin, the Indian Premier League playoffs battle has heated up. After 13 games, Bangalore as well as Mumbai Indians have 14 points. Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Rajasthan Royals all have 12 points, giving them a chance to make the playoffs even if it may seem unlikely.

'Cheeku' is the name of Virat Kohli's nickname, for those who are unsure of the words' significance. The message included a subtle jab at Afghanistan and LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq, who earlier in May enraged a number of Virat Kohli supporters through an Instagram story in which he shared a photo of mangoes positioned in front of a TV displaying the RCB vs. Mumbai Indians match.
