Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Najam Sethi has fallen on the receiving end of hard and fast-lined trolls and criticism from Indian cricket fans. It all happened after the video of Sethi started making rounds on social media; he is claiming that PSL has more digital ratings than the Indian T20 League.

"Let’s talk about digital. PSL was only at the halfway stage, so I asked about our digital rating. Najam Sethi's shows used to have a 0.5 rating on TV, whereas PSL is getting a rating of more than 11. So, it would be 18 or 20, when it completes,” said Sethi in a press conference before the final between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans.

"Over 150 million people watched it digitally. It is not a small thing. At the same stage, IPL’s digital rating was 130 million and PSL's was more than 150 million. So, this is a great success for Pakistan,” he added later.

Although this statement from the PCB chief didn’t go down well with a section of the Indian cricket fans; they immediately took to Twitter the comment section of the video posted by a Pakistan journalist; featuring Najam Sethi with his claims.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Earlier, Sethi also made it to the headlines for his statement regarding the involvement of Pakistan in the ODI World Cup 2023; scheduled in India later this year.

"We have complex issues on hand but for me when I go to the ACC and ICC meetings I have kept all options open for us and we have to take a clear position now," said Sethi in a press conference last week.

"I have kept my options open because when all teams are coming to Pakistan and have no issues with security. Then why is India worried about security? In the same way, we can also have security concerns over sending our team to India for the World Cup and I will be bringing this to the table at the coming meetings," he added later.
