Former India skipper MS Dhoni is one of the best wicketkeepers in the history of the game. During his playing days, he used to change the game not just with the bat but also behind the stumps. Fans might remember the 2016 20-20 World Cup game between India and Bangladesh.

On the last ball of the game, the Ranchi player ensured that the team wins the game even after they needed to defend two runs off the last ball. Fast forward to 2022, the Men in Blue needed to defend two runs off as many balls in the must-win game against Sri Lanka in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. Shanaka had missed the ball outside the off-stump facing Arshdeep Singh. Both batters, Shanaka and Bhanuka Rajapaksa took off for a bye.

Rishabh had a chance to hit the stumps to prevent the run. However, he missed the stumps even though he had all three stumps to aim at. The ball went to Singh, who also tried to run out the Sri Lanka skipper. However, the left-arm pacer also missed the stumps which is why the Lankan completed the second run to win the game. After this, the defending champions India are now on the verge of elimination from the tournament.
