The scenes were not pleasing between the RCB’s batting superstar Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants’ mentor Gautam Gambhir at the end of the match between both teams. Both players were involved in a heated conversation just after the end of the match as the hosts lost to RCB in a low-scoring affair.
The entire management and players of both teams could be seen controlling both the stars of Indian cricket. Notably, the senior of both Virat and Gambhir in Delhi and currently, LSG’s assistant coach Vijay Dahiya played a vital role in calming down both the stars and avoiding a big heated spat at the AB Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Subsequently, the fans were also divided with a lot of multiple reactions and responses to this heated conversation and argument between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir that started because of the misbehaviour of LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq towards Virat Kohli when both teams were shaking hands with each other after the match.
The fans took to Twitter to come up with their reactions after these unpleasant scenes on the field of cricket between the veterans of the game in front of thousands of spectators.

It all started when Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq were involved in a spat during the handshake of both teams. Later on, LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir approached Virat Kohli and it all was converted into a heated verbal spat which recalled the infamous visuals of the on-field fight between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli that took place a lot of years back during a match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
This verbal fight on the ground involved the other players of LSG like Kyle Mayers, and Naveen-ul-Haq including their mentor Gautam Gambhir as well.
For the unversed, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir had been in the same squad of India that won the ODI World Cup 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. They both played a crucial role while chasing a target against Sri Lanka in the final of the tournament at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Talking about the action of the match, LSG failed to chase down the target of 127 runs posted by RCB by scoring 126 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the first 20 overs. KL Rahul's men got bundled up only on the score of 108 runs and lost the match by 18 runs.
