Rishabh Pant is making significant progress in his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy, which will please the Indian Cricket Board. According to a source, the Indian Cricket Board wants to hasten Pant's recuperation so that he will be prepared to play in the ODI World Cup in October. The rehabilitation procedure, however, is predicted to take longer than planned. Pant isn't deterred despite the potential of not participating in any cricket in 2023.

Pant was seriously injured in a car crash in December. According to reports, he is only reporting minor discomfort. Although it might be a while until he can get back to tasks requiring skill, he is currently concentrating on increasing both his upper and lower body mobility.

Rishabh Pant's road to recovery

Pant is exercising to improve his physical talents under the direction of physio S Rajnikanth, who has worked before with several India age-group sides and the Delhi Capitals. Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, as well as M Vijay, are just a few of the numerous injured athletes whom Rajnikanth has successfully helped recover from.

Pant has been accompanied by Thulasi Ram Yuvaraj, a physiotherapist at the NCA, ever since when he was airlifted to Mumbai right after the car accident. In December 2022, when India was touring Bangladesh, Pant made his final appearance for the team. Despite how demoralising it has been for him to be away from the pitch, Pant has remained involved and kept a positive outlook. He even witnessed the World Test Championship final alongside other injured cricketers when he was in the NCA.

Pant has added water therapy, mild swimming, including table tennis to his recuperation regimen along with his rehabilitation schedule. Additionally, he has been taking part in discussions with male and female cricket enthusiasts of all ages who participate in training camps at the NCA. These sessions, which are led by NCA president VVS Laxman, help to break up the monotony and lift the young players' spirits.

The Indian team wicketkeeper batter posted on Instagram today, sharing an update on his injury. He took to Instagram with a picture at NCA and his progress has helped the nation know about his fitness at all times.
