England are currently busy playing the Test series in Pakistan against the home side. After a long gap of 17 years, England came to Pakistan to play a Test series. However, they made a great start to the series by winning the first match by 74 runs. So, in the ongoing Multan Test, Babar Azam was looking for a win to level the series.

After the loss in Rawalpindi, fans were not happy with the overall captaincy abilities of Babar Azam. The star batter got criticized heavily. But, in the first Test, Babar scored 136 runs in the first innings while managing only four runs in the second innings. So, as an individual batter also, fans were hoping for a better show from Babar Azam.

Babar Azam scored only one run off 10 balls in the second innings in Multan

Speaking of the match, Ben Stokes won the toss and chose to bat first. While batting first, England scored 281 runs in 51.4 overs. For the visitors, Ollie Pope scored 60 runs off 61 balls while Ben Duckett scored 63 runs off 49 balls. With the ball, debutant Abrar Ahmed took seven wickets for 114 runs in 22 overs for the Men in Green. In reply, the home side got bundled out for 202 runs in 62.5 overs. Babar Azam managed 75 runs off 95 balls, including 10 fours and one six. Then, in the third innings, England scored 275 runs in 64.5 overs.

Harry Brook scored 108 runs off 149 balls, including 14 fours and one six. Thus, they gave a target of 355 runs to Pakistan in the fourth innings. However, the Men in Green had a great start as the first wicket fell on 66 runs. Then, skipper Babar Azam came out to bat. But, he scored only one run off 10 balls as Ollie Robinson produced a fantastic delivery to disturb his furniture. Azam shoulder armed the ball and the ball jagged back to hit the off-stump. The Pakistan skipper was in shock and fans were not happy after seeing him getting failed once again when Pakistan needed him most.
