Currently, the India cricket team is in the United Arab Emirates to play the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. Jasprit Bumrah, who is the leading pacer of the team, was ruled out of the tournament last month. Recently, he uploaded an Instagram story in which he was seen bowling in the nets of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

Meanwhile, his wife and sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan uploaded a photo of them on social media. It was an old photo of them spending some together. However, an Instagram user thought that they were spending together currently. After this, the user posted a comment which reads “waha ind ki ma bahin pade hui hai or yeh ghum rahe” (India are losing matches in Asia Cup and you guys are enjoying vacation’).

Ganesan, who knew that the image was old and mentioned that in the caption decided not to ignore it. She replied by saying “throwback photo hai dikhta hai nahi hai kya, chomu aadmi?” (It’s a throwback photo, can’t you see it, stupid person).

Here is how it went down

Talking about the duo, they tied the knot on March 15, 2021, in a destination wedding in Goa. Their wedding ceremony was the talk of the town after they released the images and videos of the holy ceremony. The couple was spotted before the World Test Championship 2021 final as India had qualified for the title clash against the eventual-winners, New Zealand.

Talking about Bumrah, he has been missed by the Men In Blue in the ongoing continental tournament. The team has been struggling in the bowling department as the likes of Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan are relatively inexperienced at the highest level. He is expected to return ahead of the 20-20 World Cup next month.
