He was the only batter around whom the entire innings of Rajasthan Royals revolved in the first part of the game. On the back of his swashbuckling century, RR went on to put in a total of 212 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the first 20 overs of the game.

Later on, while chasing the target, Mumbai Indians crossed the line in 19.3 overs after scoring 214 runs for the loss of four wickets and won the match by six wickets.
