Currently, the Australian team is entirely beleaguered in the aftermath of an embarrassing victory against India in the first of the four-match Test series. The visitors succumbed to the Indian bowling lineup in both innings of the match. Pat Cummins’ men lost the match by an innings and 132 runs.
Meanwhile, in a recent piece of news, Senior Australian pacer Mitchell Starc is likely to make a comeback in the second of the four-match Test series against India. Notably, both teams will lock horns in the second Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from Friday, the 17th of February next week.
Although the Indian cricket fans took the news of Starc’s comeback as an opportunity to troll the 33-year-old veteran pacer. Some of the fans also felt that it will make no difference in the fate of the Australian team on their India tour.
Here’s how fans reacted:

Notably, Starc has scalped 17 wickets in the last eight innings of the four Tests he played for Australia including two each against West Indies and South Africa respectively. In these matches, the veteran New South Wales batter has bowled with a decent bowling average of 45.12.
Earlier, before the commencement of the series, Mitchell Starc updated us about his injury and availability concerns for the playing XI of Australia in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
"I am track..still a couple of weeks and then probably meet the guys in Delhi..after..hopefully, a first Test match win..get myself into training over there,” said Starc to Erin Holland during the Australia Cricket Awards.
“The team is in as good a position that we can be heading into an Indian tour. It’s exciting with the women going for the World Cup and we have a long tour of India. So plenty of good cricket to watch over the next couple of months, so we’re just wishing for some good success for Australia,” he added later.
