In Pakistan, the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League is currently in play. Four locations will host the matches this year: Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi. Similar to the last edition, Karachi Kings' performance has once again disappointed their supporters.

The team, led by Imad Wasim, has only been able to win two of its eight games, and with only four points, they are ranked second-to-last in the standings.  Wasim Akram, the president, and advisor of the Kings, articulated his rage at the team's players after the Karachi-based team failed to hold the high total in check.

What happened between Wasim Akram and Shoaib Malik during the PSL game?

The 56-year-old and former Pakistani captain and star all-rounder Shoaib Malik can be seen exchanging strong words in a video that is becoming popular on social media sites. Akram has already expressed his annoyance following the team's underwhelming performance on the field.

In the dressing room a few weeks ago, the illustrious bowler was spotted kicking chairs in a fit of rage after his team's failure to successfully chase down 197 runs against the Multan Sultans in Match No. 11, which was contested on February 22 at the Multan Cricket Ground.

Karachi's ambitions of making the PSL knockout rounds are in jeopardy with six losses from its first eight games, but the squad is still in the running. They might still advance if they are able to win the final two games and a few other outcomes go their way.

Wasim Akram, the renowned Pakistani bowler and former captain, was observed engaging in a heated argument with veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik following Karachi Kings' sixth loss in the PSL 2023 this season. With just four points from eight games, the 2020 champions have underwhelmed and are currently in the bottom two positions
