IPL 2024 finalists, Punjab Kings put up a tweet involving the image of broken stumps on Twitter. Apparently, Arshdeep Singh created a different set of problems for the umpires and tournament organizers as he broke the stumps twice. The incident happened in the last over of the IPL 2023 game against Mumbai Indians on April 22. Meanwhile, the Kings' social media handler tagged Mumbai Police on their Tweet.

The tweet reads "Hey @MumbaiPolice, we'd like to report a crime". Even though there was no reply from Mumbai Police's official handle, their parody account came up with a savage reply. They wrote, "Like Addhar for Indian citizens, trophy is mandatory for IPL franchise to report a FIR.". This has created a meme fest on the micro-blogging website.

Meanwhile, talking about the game, the 2014 finalists beat MI by 13 runs. The Red Army was coming off a loss in the home game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. On the other hand, the five-time winners, MI were coming off three back-to-back wins. Meanwhile, in the game, the home team, Mumbai won the toss and elected to bowl first.

After losing the wicket of Matthew Short in the third over, the likes of Prabhsimran Singh and Atharva Taide increased the scoring rate. They put together 47 runs in 4.1 overs. However, they went into deep trouble as they lost four wickets for 83 runs, losing two wickets in the 10th over. At this stage, the likes of Sam Curran and Harpreet Singh Bhatia played steadily for the next five overs.

In the 16th over against Arjun Tendulkar, they scored 31 runs and this changed the momentum of the game. From 105/4 in 14 overs, the team finished 214/8 with Curran scoring a quick half-century. Suryakumar Yadav's quick fifty and Green's half-century kept the team in the game. However, when the former fell to a great catch in the 18th over, things changed drastically with Arshdeep Singh taking three wickets in the slong overs to win the game for his side.
