Manchester City defeated Bayern Munich's challenge with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday at the Allianz Arena, advancing 4-1 overall and into the semifinals of the Champions League. For the second consecutive year, City will face record 14-time champions and defending champion Real Madrid in the semifinals as they pursue their first Champions League trophy.

As such, Leon Goretzka of Bayern Munich made a surprising revelation regarding the quarterfinal games against Manchester City. He said, 'Haaland has no respect for the opponent or football. He farted every time we approached him. He did it more than once!' This is definitely a very surprising revelation. However twisted his tactics may have been, It's safe to say that Erling Haaland and Manchester City have done their job well.

Manchester City defeated Bayern Munich by an aggregate score of 4-1

A vibrant home crowd in Munich helped Bayern, who were down 3-0 from the first leg of the quarterfinal match a week prior, but they could not capitalise on their early chances. After missing a first-half penalty, Erling Haaland took advantage of Dayot Upamecano's error to score his 48th goal of an incredible season in the 57th minute, virtually putting the outcome beyond question.

With seven minutes left in the game, Joshua Kimmich converted a penalty after a handball call against Manuel Akanji, but by that moment, the goal was merely a consolation. Bayern had finally scored. The German champions' agony was completed in the closing seconds when coach Thomas Tuchel was dismissed from the sideline after receiving a second yellow card.

"I am so happy to be three in a row semifinals ," Guardiola, who coached Bayern from 2013-16, said. "I could not expect differently; you saw how good they are. In this competition, it is the details. In these two games, in the right moments, we were there. In the second half, we adjusted some things, and since minute one in the second half, we felt were much more in control," he added.
