However, fans were worried as there were some reports of rain during the match. But, the match happened as per schedule as the stage was set for an enthralling battle.

After losing against Pakistan last year in the 20-20 World Cup, India were looking to do well this year. So, fans were also eager to see the performance from the Men in Blue in this clash. Speaking of the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and he opted to bowl first.

On the first delivery only, he took the wicket of the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam. Arshdeep pinned Babar LBW. Babar Azam took the review but that also did not work in his favour. Then, he also took the wickets of the number one batter in the shortest format of the game, Mohammad Rizwan. So, fans went berserk seeing such a stellar bowling performance from the young pacer from Punjab. Arshdeep Singh took two wickets for 10 runs in two overs. After 11 overs, Pakistan scored 70 runs for two wickets against India.
