The West Indian further expressed that he actually trusted Mumbai should've dominated the match as he lauded the manner in which his side played the game. Furthermore, the allrounder gave an update on the Mumbai team Captain Rohit Sharma who couldn't come out for the interview.

“It’s a game of cricket, you go out there to do your best, you prepare, there’s a process and the situation dictates what happens. We were on the losing side tonight. We should have won this I believe deep down but these things happen.”

The Mumbai Indians star stated that they have been playing good cricket in IPL 2020. He added that on Sunday as well they played an awesome cricket game. There are two or three zones they have to develop to play even better in the ongoing IPL season. Currently, they have a four-day break, and Pollard thinks it is sufficient time to reflect. The Mumbai squad is confident in the dressing room. He stated that he was informed that Rohit was not feeling well. Pollard also told that they would see what happens. He asserts that Rohit is a fighter in every situation.
