On July 20th, Indian batter Virat Kohli will play his 500th International match against the West Indies at Trinidad. Kohli joins Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and MS Dhoni as the fourth Indian to play 500 international matches. This historic event will occur during the second and final Test against the West Indies in Trinidad, where Kohli will join a group of cricketing luminaries. The 34-year-old scored 25,461 runs at an average of 53.48 in 558 innings in 499 international matches. With the highest score of 254*, he has 75 centuries and 131 fifties. He is the sixth-highest run-scorer in sports history and has the second-most centuries.

Even at 34 years old, he is a regular member of India's longer format sides and will attempt to score 30,000 international runs before his career ends. Kohli has the most double century in Tests (seven), more than any other Indian batter. Don Bradman, the Australian icon, has the most double tons in his career.
Kohli captained India in 68 Tests and he won 40 Tests, while only losing 17 and drawing 11. He is one of India's finest Test captains, with a victory percentage of 58.82. He has the joint most 100s as captain. The former Indian skipper, who stands sixth in the list of most runs scored, stands the same as Sachin Tendulkar in international centuries after 499 matches.
Kohli's had an excellent international record against the West Indies. He has 3,729 runs at an average of 58.26 in 71 matches. In 74 innings, he has 11 hundreds and 23 fifties, with a top score of 200. He has played 31 international matches for the West Indies, accumulating 1,476 runs at an average of 47.61. In 34 innings.
He has five centuries and seven centuries, with a highest score of 200. The Delhi-based batter looked in good form in the first Test, missing out on a century, Rahkeem Cornwall dismissed him on 76.
