On 23 October 2022, India will kick off their 20-20 World Cup campaign in Melbourne against arch-rivals Pakistan. Fans are eagerly waiting for this mega clash as teams are gearing up for the match. But, as of now, it seems that the match might not get affected by rain. But, ahead of the clash, England’s Barmy Army came up with a cheeky tweet regarding India vs Pakistan clash. The tweet reads: “What’s an India vs Pakistan. Never heard of it.” This fanbase of the England Cricket Team have a history of taking digs at other teams. Now, Indian fans did not take the tweet in a good way as they came up with their opinions.
Speaking of the weather in Melbourne, both captains also shared their views in their press conferences. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam said that they will be ready in whatever conditions as the weather is not in their hands. Meanwhile, the Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma said: “You don’t really know what is going to happen tomorrow. The things that are in our control, we’ll try and control that, which is we’ll have a good training session today, go back, relax and get ready for tomorrow. As simple as that. We need to come here thinking that it’s a 40-over game. We will be ready for that.”
