Meanwhile, the match between Gujarat and Delhi turned out to be very interesting as Gujarat registered their second win in a row. Lockie Ferguson and Shubman Gill were the stars of the match. Ferguson picked up a four-wicket haul and Gill scored 84 in 46 balls.
Gujarat defended 171 runs and claimed a 14 run win over the Delhi team. Team captain Hardik Pandya was elated with the win. "Really happy with the way boys are coming out and contributing. The kind of attack we have, we always felt that we can make a score that’s 10 under-par look like 25 above. I thought there were periods where Delhi was ahead, but then that Lockie over really changed things for us," said Pandya in the post-match presentation.
