In a good piece of news for the Team India and Indian cricket fans, star batters KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have started the game practice ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. Both batters are currently taking part in practice matches at the National Cricket Academy of Bengaluru.
Notably, Rahul and Iyer were not in action with Team India in international cricket due to their respective thigh and back injuries. The media reports have also learned that the Indian Team management is expecting the comeback of these two key players for two upcoming major international tournaments including Asia Cup 2023 followed by the ODI World Cup 2023, in their own backyard.

Apart from KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, two key pacers, Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna, are set to make their comeback for India in the three-match T20I series against Ireland. Both the pacers are coming from their injuries. Notably, the star pace spearhead Bumrah will be captaining India in the T20I series against Ireland in the absence of some big names including the like of Hardik Pandya and regular skipper Rohit Sharma.
