'Kohli jaisa coach sabko mile' - Fans In Relief After KL Rahul Scores Fifty Against Bangladesh

On 2 November 2022, the Men in Blue took on Bangladesh in Adelaide in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. Speaking about the forms of these teams, both teams managed to win two out of their first three games in the tournament so far. So, fans were hoping to see a great fight between these teams.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul is also there busy playing in the World Cup. But, he failed miserably in the first three matches. KL Rahul managed only 22 runs in three matches.  Against Pakistan, he scored only four runs. Then he scored nine runs against the Netherlands and South Africa. So, fans were worried to see such a form from this star batter.

KL Rahul scored 50 runs off 32 balls against Bangladesh

KL Rahul made a return to the Indian team after his injury setback. He came back in the three-match ODI series in Zimbabwe. Then, he played in the Asia Cup 2022 also. But, he did not manage any big scores. Rahul only hit a fifty against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup. Still, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid showed faith in him. On 1 November 2022, a video went viral where Virat Kohli was seen giving batting tips to the batter. 

Even, in the pre-match press conference. Rahul Dravid also dismissed any chance of dropping Rahul in the clash against Bangladesh. He said: "I think he's a fantastic player, and he's got a proven track record. He's done really well. I thought he's been batting superbly. These things can happen in a T20 game sometimes.” Speaking about the match against Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and he asked India to bat first. So, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came out to open the innings. But, KL Rahul did not disappoint his fans as he scored 50 runs off 32 balls. He batted at a strike rate of 156.25, including three fours and four sixes. Fans also looked relieved after seeing KL Rahul scoring a fifty finally in the tournament.
